Job Description:

Our client, a Middle East based bank is looking for 
a Deputy Head of Global Governance to join its 
dynamic warns in Qatar. The ideal candidate who acts 
as an advisor to multiple layers of the Bank's 
Management team has to ensure that risk from 
statutory or regulatory non — compliance does riot 
adversely impact the Bank's reputation and 
financial condition.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet regularly with functional heads 
to update them on governance issues.

• Ensure that corporate values are 
communicated throughout the banking organization.

• Implement the core governance 
standards and framework all across the bank-

• Assess the effectiveness of 
Governance practices to identify the weaknesses and 
implement the necessary actions

• Develop and maintain a level of 
expertise as the bank continues to grow in size and 
complexity.

Qualification Requirements:

• Post Graduate degree/MBA preferable.

• At least Ten to fifteen years' experience in 
Compliance Audit function, out of which at least ten
years should have been in Top / Senior Management level in a 
bank in the GCC.

• Highly developed communication and 
planning skills.
