Top international construction group with multi-billion turnover has large construction contracting companies in UAE, QATAR and Gulf region.
This group requires a Senior Estimator who, after a few months, will become Estimating Manager.
Same group also requires AIQS-SL or CIOB-UK chartered Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors (for Dubai office).
Qualifications
Ideally you will have at least 10 to 15 years experience. Also, you will ideally have some Mid East/UAE/GCC experience. Due to visa etc issues, candidates of British, Australian, New Zealand, South African (basically Western) origin are preferred.
AIQS-SL chartered Quantity Surveyors and Junior Quantity Surveyors (for Dubai office):
Chartered QS's obviously need AIQS-SL or CIOB-UK chartered status with ideally some mid east experience. Candidates already in mid east/UAE/Dubai of special interest.
Junior QS: would be good if you are pursuing some chartership (eg you might be member of AIQS on APC) although not essential. Most work will be take off and measurement. Familiarity with mid east/UAE work, contract types useful as is knowledge/familiarity with eg SMM7, POMI, etc standards of measurement.
