Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement & test a robust Business Continuity framework which supports the bank's business needs
• Develop, implement and manage a risk assessment practice to identify, assess and address potential business continuity / emergency situations and their respective controls
• Define business continuity strategies, plans & procedures for all specific areas of business continuity and get approval from appropriate management
• Work closely with all departments to define business continuity procedures such as emergency manuals & test cases
• Work closely with IT department to design technology facilities and technical infrastructures to meet the ongoing business requirements and ensure business needs are aligned with IT facilities
• Oversee and supervise periodic testing of the business continuity framework & maintain updated copies of all documents
• Act as a single point of contact between the Crisis Management Team (CMT) and all other teams during crisis operations
• Oversee, monitor and ensure that all recovery & restore operations are proceeding in an organized manner during crisis operations
• Advise CMT about Business recovery & restore operations.

Academic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Information Security (IT Security) or similar field from reputable institution
• Knowledge of Qatar Central Bank laws and regulations are an advantage, but knowledge of international and Basel II regulations are essential.
Professional qualities and skills:
• Senior management experience and proven track record in similar field
• Good understanding of IT security applications and principles of Business Continuity
• Sufficient Project Management understanding
• Good understanding of Market BCM issues and plans
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
