SKILL:
The successful applicant will have marketing database experience creating and extracting information with a key knowledge of reporting and business intelligence tools such as Cognos along with extensive experience in SQL.
With the confidence to extract, analyse and interpret data into actionable information this person will establish an understanding of the business requirements and communicate and translate results for the management team.
A degree qualification and 3 or more years experience as a Database Analyst is required with the ideal candidate possessing an MBA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work within the marketing department to acheive the following:
• Design, test, implement, maintain, and control the organisation's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments;
• Participate in the review and further development of data architectures and database management policies and standards;
• Participate in the planning, design, and usage of data resources;
• Develop database systems to automate manual processes;
• Evaluate current systems and recommend and implement process improvements;
• Develop ad-hoc reports;
• Be responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation, documentation, security policy compliance and standards;
Education: Undergraduate degree required (ideally Mathematics or Marketing), MBA preferred;
