Until 1982 the company operated as Saudi Booth, a small fabrication workshop run by a saudi businessman in partnership with Bolton (UK) based John Booth & Company.
HIDADA has grown steadily to become a leading supplier of steel products to the Middle East and international markets. Job description
Plan engineering scope of work to meet project milestones Develop cost effective tender/technical proposal to ensure that a sales proposal potential to win the project is timely submitted Provide/guide/educate detailers in the project specification to have proper knowledge and understanding of project requirements Design structure according to project's technical specifications. Achieve satisfactory product weight according to project's technical specifications Prepare engineering report Supervise draftsmen/detailers in the engineering department Coordinate/collaborate with clients/customers/third parties as and when required on aspects related to engineering work
Qualifications
Bachelor degree preferably in Civil Engineering. Min. 3 to 5 years experience in the occupation in designing Power transmission and telecommunication towers and lighting poles Thorough knowledge of: design, detailing of towers and poles; codes, standards and references Knowledge of design calculation and drawing process, checking process and correcting/revising process Supervisory skill and interpersonal skill Good communication skill in English, and Arabic preferable Excellent computer skill (knowledge of tower and pole designing software
