Qualification:
DAE with 5 years related work experience in CCPP/Petrochemical Industry
Description:
* Monitors equipment operation and power production locally. Makes rounds, checking the condition of all operating machinery.
* Records operating data in logs, maintains records. Starts stops and operates equipment in accordance with site Operating
* Procedures and per the direction of the control room operator and Shift Supervisor. Helps maintaining power output to meet system demand without exceeding machinery’s design capacity. Helping out shift supervisor in carrying out Isolations/de-isolation as and when required. Escorts, observes and supervises performance of contractors to ensure compliance with Site Safety Procedures. Keeps site clear of all fire or other safety hazards.
* To discuss with control room operator and shift engineer, measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
* To analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems.
* To raise work orders for required operational preventative and corrective maintenance.
To read and understand technical manuals and system piping and instrumentation diagrams.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization
* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
* Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry. Demonstrated use of a calculator to perform the above calculations is sufficient.
