Job Description:
a) To ensure the effective technical coordination between Operations Divisions and Engineering & Projects Division through the promotion of consistency of Drilling and Rig Equipment standards and procurement specifications. To review new technological development in the drilling industry and evaluate the feasibility of implementing such developments in both offshore and onshore operations. To keep abreast of new developments, conducting studies, assessing various drilling technologies, recommending implementation of such new equipment & technology developments. To co-ordinate technical aspects between Engineering & Projects, Operations and Commercial Divisions and assist on special tasks as required.
Profile:
a) B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical or Petroleum Engineering. b) 10 years experience in Drilling Industry out of which 3 years field work experience at rig site (Offshore and Onshore) c) 2 years experience in office of Drilling Contractor for specifying and evaluation of complete rig specifications. d) Good knowledge of various technical & quality standards on rig equipment and their appropriate application on Drilling Industry.
Education: Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical , Petroleum )
