Executive of Treasury Audit, Qatar
Our client, a Middle East based commercial bank is looking for an Executive of Treasury Audit to join its dynamic team in Qatar.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the Treasury, Investment and Market Risk (Basel-II) Audit function of the Bank.
• Liaise with financial, operational, and regulatory auditors in the performance of integrated audits.
• Plan, co-ordinate and deliver the integrated audits of Treasury, Investment business lines and special projects.
• Partner with client management in the resolution of control issues in line with the professional auditing standards.
• Prepare audit reports that provide an appropriate opinion, concisely outline significant areas of risks, as well as control issues and recommend remedial action.
Requirements:
• Must have a professional accounting, auditing qualification, CA/CPA/CIA or equivalent.
• At least 10+ years relevant Treasury & Investment audit in a major bank or leading audit firm in the GCC.
• Minimum of 5 years in audit managerial capacity in a bank in the GCC and familiar with Basel-II requirements, especially Market Risks, and IAS 39.
