Job description
Producing quality software and systems - undertaking a defined role which is decided on a project by project basis by the SPC in collaboration with the relevant Resource Manager - IT. The roles may be a combination activities involving:
Software production
Translate the process and enhancement specifications into programs and write or generate error-free code within agreed timescales and using the development tools, methods and languages specified by the Project Manager.
Software and database design
Translate the functional requirements into a specification of functional processes, program modules and data definitions. Work with the database administrators to design and build file structures to support the functional processes. Reference and document the specifications and design for code development, testing and support.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Engineering or Science (BE/BTECH/MCA/MSC/MBA).
Hands on experience and key software skills - please apply if you are proficient in at least one of the following:
Java -Java, J2EE, JSP, Struts, Swing, AJAX, Hibernate, JSF
Oracle Database -10G, D2k- Forms 9i, Report 9i
Oracle AppsERP- Financials, Manufacturing, HR
Microsoft technologies- ASP.Net, VB. Net, C#, PL/SQL, System Design & Implementation
Other tech- TIBCO, Datawarehousing, TPF.
