Job description
• Ensuring technical resources (IT, phones and A/V) are allocated appropriately and operated to meet the demands of staff, clients and visitors
• Coordinate the delivery of all A/V and computing requirements for events at QSTP
• Plan, arrange and oversee routine maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair of audio/visual communication systems (e.g. PA, closed circuit TV, VCRs and antennae systems)
• Consult with staff, clients and vendors to develop understanding of “business needs” supported by the system
• Keep track (inventory) of all installed A/V, IT and phones equipment and their status
• Manage the day to day operation of all QSTP A/V equipment, including servicing the meeting rooms.
Qualifications
• Electrical / Electronics engineering graduate or recognized technical vocational education followed by at least 3 years of proven experience at a supervisory level
• Experience in operating and maintaining Crestron, Polycom, Draper, Shure, Crown amplifiers, Christie and BI AMP systems
• Experience in broadcasting and signal distribution
• Working knowledge of equipment installation and testing of large scale AV Systems
• Good computer literacy in terms of software, applications and networking solutions
