The leading telecommunication Service Provider in Egypt and MENA is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Telecom Technician
Responsibilities
• The installer assists other staff in the installation of customer equipments on site by assembling basic electronic and mechanical parts, and carrying out various forms of wiring and cabling.
• Carries out installation of either and/or GSM/MW/BTS/Node B and other hardware equipment that are essential.
• Interprets drawings and follows the instruction of the Team Leader.
• Assembles basic electronic and mechanical parts.
• Detects hardware faults and rectifies them.
• Coordinates with immediate supervisor, reports, daily activities and follows instructions.
• Erects ironwork and cable chutes, carries out continuity checking of cables prior to wiring and final continuity checking after wiring.
• Solves problems of complex nature encountered during the installation of the products.
Qualifications
• A minimum 2 - 4 years experience of related work.
• Good Command of English Language.
• Knowledge of the GSM / MW / Radio fields.
• Knowledge of installation techniques for telecom systems.
• knowledge of using appropriate test equipments and to conduct test.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction.
• Knowledge of implementing “Electricity at Work” rules and regulations.
