Description
• Exercise accounting practices over financial transactions
• Prepare, generate and analyze reports detailing financial information with regards to assets, liabilities and capital, and prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current financial position
• Analyzes revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure control
• Provide efficient and accurate financial reports such as but not limited to income statement and balance sheet on a periodic basis
• Work with General Manager with regards to financial and operational targets
• Work with department managers in setting and finalizing target profits based on available financial information of departments’ past performance
• Develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and manual filing systems
• Leads the Finance Department team with the goal of servicing and satisfying all departments’ need for finance services
• Recommends measures to improve methods and quality of accounting services
• Perform related duties as required
Job description
• Accounting degree from a recognized University
• Experience in a related field of not less than 5 years
• Initiative and enthusiastic
• Good communication skills in English languages
• Strong organizational and numerical skills
• The ability to work steadily under pressure
• Good computer literacy
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications
• The ability to work with deadlines and cope with pressure
