A well reputed Middle East based commercial bank urgently requires individuals for the post of Head of International IT to join in Qatar.
REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related subject.
> Applicants with MBA or Masters degree will be preferred.
> Work experience of at least 10 years in a major bank is needed.
> 7 years of experience should be in a managerial capacity in international IT in a bank in the GCC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Ensure systems behaviour and reporting complies with Central Bank requirements.
> Support the development process of new technologies.
> Anticipate organizational modifications to the new developments in information systems technology.
> Ensure that project deliverables meet the specifications received from the international entities.
> Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.
> Ensure overseas branches and representative offices are equipped with the necessary IT applications and equipment to support their operations.
> Participate in the overall IT strategy formulation and execution.
