Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities of the role:

·         Assume ownership for Developing and implementing Best Practices in the field of Estimation, Cost Control, Schedule Control, Quality Control and Safety through implementation of operation manual .

·         Develop and automate the processes for effective controls in the system for

ü  Material cost

ü  Labor

ü  Sub-Contracting

ü  Engineering Design

·         Provide technical support through effective training process to all stake holders.

·         Provide inputs and corrective action plan to management for de- risking the business.

·         Manage and control the contract management process and advice on settlement of potential claims to and from customers or vendors/subcon.

·         Monitor and drive conversion of orders to revenue in line with the organization plan.

·         Review and manage project risks and opportunities and flag off with corrective actions to the management in time.

·         Review and monitor the status and progress of all projects to ensure continuous on-target completion and work in tandem with the regional teams.

·         Project controls including cost and schedule control, progress monitoring, evaluation and control Cost and benefits analysis, value engineering and process simplification.

·         Front-end development for projects, including feasibility studies, planning, budgeting, scheduling, contracting strategies and execution plans

·         Continuous review and negotiation on 3rd party vendors and sub-contractor agreements including labor, equipment and materials

·         To provide leadership to Baan and Technical team and ensure high level of motivation of ownership of entire team.

 

Competencies Required

Owner and focal point in the India for all project management, technical support, after sales service pertaining to the operations function. Provide specialist support and knowledge to in-country teams in the execution of day-to-day operations activities, cost, quality, safety and customer service while leading the business in continuous improvement steps to meet a sustainable competitive advantage in all country markets.
