A leading energy company in UAE is seeking for a Geo CAD Technician to join their team in UAE.
Requirements:
> Applicants should be completed secondary education, followed by 2 years drafting, training to Diploma.�
> Work experience of 4 to 5 years as a geological draftsman is needed.
> Should possess excellent working knowledge of GIS.
> Computer literacy in CAD applications is essential.
Responsibilities:
> Prepare geological/technical drawings to meet the technical drafting requirements of geologists, geophysicists, reservoir and drilling engineers.
> Maintain the filing system of well logs, seismic data and maps to provide a source of information to geologists, geophysicists and engineers.
> Prepare overheads of geological maps and drawings for geological and reservoir presentations.�
> Prepare contour maps, using CAD or freehand for geological map books and reservoir and geophysical reports and studies.�
> Prepare well prognoses for drilling new wells from data received from geologists, reservoir and drilling engineers.�
> Plot platform and well locations from geographical coordinate data received from engineers for marine navigation maps.
