Our client, a global Transportation and Logistics company engaged inshipping and related businesses is currently seeking the services of aGeneral Manager - Logistics. The role will encompass the initial set up of agrowth plan for ME and Africa region for Logistics and own it to make ithappen. You will lead the logistics team / agents to meet and exceed businessgoals in all functional areas. You will also be responsible for policy deployment,adherence to good business governance practices, and ensure that countryplans and business measures are aligned with corporate objectives. This role demands high involvement at the operational level, dedication and passion to drive business. You must be a Graduate with MBA or professional qualifications preferably in Business Studies, Marketing or Finance; be between 30-45 years of age and have minimum 5 years experience in similar or country lead position with exposure to international business and operating environment. Experience in running a logistics organization and understanding 3PL environment is a must.
