Section Manager – IT Support


Credentials

*A Bachelor Degree, as a minimum, in IT/ Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent;

*A Masters Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent preferred

Description

To manage and oversee the IT Support Section, by assuming overall responsibility for the Section’s functions and activities and ensuring they are performed according to the overall guidelines prescribed by ADEC, and that adequate support is provided to ADEC’s core functions.

*Assist in the planning and establishment of long term and short term goals, objectives and programs for the Support Services Sector based on vision, mission and overall guidelines provided;

*Review maintenance of existing systems, provide direction in all technology related issues; identify, evaluate and assess solutions and methodologies in terms of technological compatibility and effectiveness and recommend improvements/ solutions for ADEC based on the identified architecture and technology standards;
