Job description
foreseeing sales on a yearly, quarterly and monthly basis; supervising order taking and telephone sales; communicating with manufacturing personnel to coordinate plant activities with customer needs; supervising outside sales activities; recommending pricing changes to the plant manager; maintaining pricing files; providing a daily shipping schedule; aggressively seeking out daily sales and new customers; and providing long term direction to sales.
Qualifications
Ability to interface and communicate clearly and precisely with plant personnel and customers is essential. Must have excellent organizational skills and be self-motivated. Prior work experience in a busy-demanding work environment is desirable, preferably in a float glass industry.
