Job description
• Develop an inspection plan, schedule and frequency for the running plant stationary equipments, piping systems and structural assets. • Perform inspection 'internal & external' and condition assessment of the existing plant stationary equipments, piping and structures and • Issue independent inspection report for the findings. • Develop independent technical repair procedures for plant related problems and ensure execution of the repair as per procedure. • Review of engineering drawings and ITP of the stationary equipment projects. • Responsible for timely providing specialist engineering skills for plant problems such as study the root cause, analyze, recommend and • Prepare & issue technical inspection reports after site visits in the field for the plant stationary equipments, piping and structures. • Ensuring timely executions of the inspection tasks as per company procedures, standards and schedules. • Prepare inspection list for the plant turnaround activities and attend vessel internal inspection and all plant turn around inspection activities. • Monitor the CP system and perform field survey of the CP system and issue technical report.
Qualifications
• Candidate must have Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering Degree with a minimum of 10+ years experience in inspection field. Out of it, minimum 5 years experience in the inspection field of running ammonia and urea producer plants. • Candidate should be fully familiar with international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM specifications and NDT techniques. • Candidate must have proficient communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, excellent Knowledge of English and • Computer skill knowledge. • Knowledge to review drawings, design specification, WPS/PQR, welding and material specification.
