Responsibilities:

♦Ensure that expediting and shipping units serve to meet the project operational deadlines and milestones.
♦ Attend project review meetings and ensure that all associated reports are adequately compiled and distributed.
♦ Set up well- defined procedures for identification and proper accounting of procurement under different contracts.
♦ Purchase or hire material/equipment in the most cost effective manner in line with regulatory and company policy.
♦ Negotiate with the vendors on project procurement contracts related to available resources and make recommendations to reduce costs.
