Job Description:

Carries out critical, detail oriented, analytical focused, time intensive, problem solving and other project management tasks. Ability to quickly gather data and communicate project status under pressure is critical to delivery of accurate and advance look-ahead status of future project issues. Responsible for delivery of project budget, project planning and scheduling. Manages schedule and cost risk assessment sessions and develops risk simulation models to mitigate/monitor/manage project schedule & cost risks. Develops the Project Master Schedule for Projects of ADMA-OPCO covering all stages of the project life-cycle i.e. Conceptual, FEED, Detail Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning. Monitor Cost & Schedule and reports on the performance for all Project Execution Division Managed Schemes. Support Project Teams in the finalization of the Project Strategy, Project Execution, contract administration, evaluation of claims and close out reports. Carries out management reporting and liaison with CPLD, FD, CMD, Internal & External auditors. Able to monitor project contractors for schedule, cost risk and variations. Supports delivery of project within agreed targets of project budget, schedule and objectives. Proposes remedies for recovery of project slippages such as cost over-runs, delays etc., to be vigilant to identify potential future problems and initiate necessary steps in-advance to avoid project risks. Review SOR, SOW, Project Strategy, contract strategy document and, if appropriate, suggest alternative project execution strategies that are more effective in delivering project goals. Analyses the planning packages, progress measurements and reporting procedures, projects detailed programs, critical path analysis, program ;logic, review of relations, constraints, resource analysis, resource leveling, resource optimization, schedule tracking, look ahead reporting, schedule variance analysis, PERT network diagrams, S-Curves, resource , resource deployment plans, micro-schedules for shutdown activities. Prepares overall project master planning programme for each projects. Analyses project schedule and forecast the schedule impact resulting from various types of changes. Analyses and review the schedule impact from contractor claims. Prepares/review recovery plans variation and contingency plans. Prepares or reviews the budget forms for new projects and projects cost revision sheets for changes to existing budgets. Participates in the evaluation of the bid process and provide advise on the contract awards. Assists the project teams in evaluating reviewing and analyzing the cost documents. Liaises with the Corporate Planning and the Finance Division on the budget and expenditure requirements. Collects the budget and expenditure data from the Cost & Budget System, Maximo and Oracle Financial and updates in house reports. Identifies potential schedule and cost risk events. Evaluates risk events and ranking of schedule and cost risk to projects. Develops Risk events and ranking of schedule and cost risk to projects. Develops Risk Assessment simulation models using computer software packages “PERT MASTER” & “(at)RISK”. Analyses and forecast schedule and estimated final costs of the projects for various confidence levels. Reviews and analyses Contractors method Statement for construction activities, quality plans, and pre-qualification documents for Vendors/Contractor. Controls the reporting requirements for all projects undertaken by the Division, this includes identifying in the early stages of projects, the report back system from sites and designing simple forms for presentation of information. Assist project Teams in evaluating contracts change requests and contract price variations. Review progress, discusses delays, amends plans accordingly and identifies potential problems for all projects of Division. Reviews projects progress, projects reports, PERT network diagrams, S-curves, resource deployment plans and investigates the impact of shutdown activities on all projects schedules. 

Profile:

BSc. In Engineering or equivalent. 10 years experience in planning and scheduling of capital projects of which a minimum of 7 years within the oil industry. Very good knowledge of English

Education: Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
