A leading Saudi Arabian IT company has the vacancy for an SOA / Integration Architect.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
> Creating technical RFPs and analyzing and evaluating proposals.
> Managing and driving requirements definition and system design activities for large projects.
> Leading system architecture design and producing a well-written design documentation.
> Reviewing, evaluating, and challenging artifacts produced by vendors.
> Identifying technical risks and problems in the architecture, implementation and at run-time.
> Co ordinating between all stakeholders from the client side and the vendor side.
> Performing detailed design and architecture activities independently on smaller engagements.
REQUIREMENTS:
> Applicants should be a Bachelor's Degree holder in Computer Science or equivalent.
> Work experience of at least 8 years in software and IT industry is required.
> Should possess a strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and translating�
customer requirements into workable solutions.
> Need background in providing enterprise-scale solution’s architecture.
> Should be familiar with IBM offerings in the area of SOA infrastructure (Datapower, WebSphere broker, WebSphere ESB, Tivoli…).
> Preference to applicants with certification in one of IBM ESB solutions.
> Need knowledge in software development life cycle and the produced artifacts at each phase.
> Should be experienced in architecture integration solutions for large-scale projects.
> Effective communication and presentation skills are essential.
> Requires good problem-solving, decision-making, collaboration and documentation skills.
