The senior project manager will be tasked with leading the construction of a large scale project [value of 200 Million USD and above]. He shall be responsible to manage the Design and execution of all construction and office related work, from correspondence to follow-up with subcontractors, procurement follow-up, etc. and remains the interface between the project teams that make up the overall project.

The Senior Project Manager will be the ultimate responsible for the completion of the project within the contractual obligations and the required time, quality and budget constraints.

The Senior Project Manager will report to the company Deputy CEO.

Senior Project Manager responsibilities include:

Manage Project Activities and Project Team:
Set, organize and conduct general review meetings dealing with Design progress, design issues, work progress, coordination, procurement, Quality-related and technical issues, safety and cost control, enforce the full compliance of all concerned with the decisions taken therein.
Analyze situations and problems accurately, identify and weigh the probable effects of alternative solutions and implement effective courses of action.
Organize, plan, direct, advise and manage resources and people working on the project.
Properly and timely handle all means of correspondence with the involved Parties (Engineer, CM, subcontractors, etc.).
Manage costs and ensure complying with the budget:
Manage project spending through procurement and subcontracting and ensure alignment to budget. Follow up on project staff costs and indirect expenses incurred.
Report on costs evolution and comparison to budget planning regularly; provide justification for project overruns.
Manage and review planning:
Set the global view of the project and develop the guiding principles; ensure that project planning for resources and people is derived accordingly.
Oversee planning updates and approve alternate solutions in case of failures.
Ensure progress monitoring and early problem prevention.
Direct general work sequencing to expedite overall delivery and to minimize disruption and oversee tracking and control of project resources and materials.
Ensure a proper audit trail of all activities such as vendor assignment, subcontractor mobilization, etc.
Select and manage resources and subcontractors:
Set the project team organization and assign responsibilities, develop detailed job descriptions and requirements and ensure the proper execution of assignments.
Ensure that appropriate co-ordination is maintained throughout the project, resolve interface issues and ensure a joint commitment to the success of the project.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the involved parties on the project.
Lead and direct the selection process of subcontractors, and hold periodic and need basis meetings regularly and warrant control and compliance.
Ensure Quality, Safety and Technical standard compliance:
Enforce the Quality Control set criteria: Inspect, approve, and accept completed activities ensuring conformance with institutional standards, building and life safety codes, and Contract specifications and / or implement the corrective actions related thereto.
Ensure activities comply with organizational requirements for quality management.
Ensure the respect of the HSE rules throughout the construction activities.
Secure the application of the Company's Quality Manual, Quality Standards and the related procedures.
