Requirements:
> Applicants should possess a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and a postgraduate course in material engineering.
> Work experience of minimum 8-10 years in the related field in Oil / Petrochemical Industry.
> Background on modern maintenance systems is needed.
Responsibilities:
> Provide technical expertise with experience based knowledge.
> Provide assistance to technical and operational divisions / departments on all related matters to materials and Spare Parts.
> Review engineering packages and advise recommendations on material and spare parts selection.
> Develop Bill of materials,assess criticality of spares and define optimum stock levels.
> Select materials as per services and recommends alternatives.
> Carry out technical bid analysis on spares and materials and recommend acceptability.
