Compliance Officer
Our client, a Middle East based bank is looking for a Compliance Officer to administer the compliance program for the new location and to coordinate compliance with Kuwaiti laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will keep the General Manager informed on an ongoing basis of the quality of compliance, compliance deficiencies and the status of the corrective action.
Responsibilities:
• Implement compliance monitoring program within the designated business.
• Provide consultation and guidance to employees on compliance questions/issues.
• Deliver such assistance in compliance training as appropriate and as may be directed.
• Coordinate production, documentation and approval of the countrys annual compliance program.
• Establish internal controls to ensure the integrity and completeness of all compliance and regulatory records.
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in compliance, in a bank in the GCC, Anti-Money Laundering experience in banking essential.
• University degree in Finance or Accounts, though an additional professional certification such as CIA/ACCA/CPA/CA will be an added advantage.
• Arabic Speaking with good relations with Central Bank of Kuwait.
