Job Description : AVP of Credit Audit, UAE

Our client a Middle East based commercial bank is looking to appoint an AVP of Credit Audit for its team in the UAE. As part of the Audit department the incumbent will be reporting to the Head of Credit Review.



Responsibilities:



• Plan and execute audit assignments and report audit findings.
• Train and develop staff as well as coach other team members.
• Develop financial solutions for clients and identify business opportunities.
• Meet deadlines for complex transactions as well as a regular transaction flow.
• Develop cash flow models and financial projections for deals originated by the bank.



Requirements:



• Chartered Accountant / relevant professional accounting qualification may also be considered.
• Minimum 7 years post qualification experience in a financial environment in credit and operational areas of banking, including credit approval, administration and good knowledge about the operations, ideally UAE or GCC banking exposure in audit.
• Skilled in credit audit, credit risk or credit review and thorough understanding of corporate, commercial banking and credit management functions.
