We have a requirement for our client in Dubai (UAE) for a NDT Supervisor PCN Level 3 in NDT (UT,MT,RT,PT,VT).

Responsiblefor:(The main  job  activities)

•    To be responsible for reviewing, preparing and Approving Written Practice and NDE procedures inaccordance with the requirements of DNV/ABS/LRRules,ASMEBPV Code Sections V, VIII, IX and other relevantdocuments.

•    Train,qualify,and examine the NDE personnel inaccordance with DOWD written practice, which will be based on SNT-TClA,2001 and 2006 or any other Edition accepted by current ASME Codes.

•    Review NDE sub-contractors NDE procedures, written practice and personnel certification documents to be in accordance with Clients/ Company requirements.

•    Reviewing and approving NDT reports, Witnessing NDT activities at site.

·•Carrying out NDT Assessment/Auditfor Mega Projects  for Personnel Qualification and Technique, ANDQC/NDT  ReportIntegrity.

•    Approving for NDT personal for RT,MT,PT,PMI and UT by documents reviews asper company Clients requirements.

•    Discuss quality, safety and NDT deficiencies, specifications deviations and negative inspection findings with the clients Personal to develop win solutions.

•    Anticipate and take corrective action stop revent quality problems, failures, defective works and deficient reports.

•    Ensure safety standards and requirements are observed and bring policy matters to attention of superiors.

•    Auditcompany(NDTSUBCONTRACTORANDNDTSERVICEPROVIDE R)QC/NDTprogramsandmake/recommend changesorupdates.Reviewandmake/recom mendrevisionstoallprocedures.

•    Interfacewithmanagementtodiscuss/recommendimprovementstotheQA/QC  AND  NDTprogram.

•    Crosscheck/MonitorofUltrasonicandMPIJobof NDTpersonnelinthefieldtoinsuretheya remeetingcompany requirements.MonitoringNDTequipmentsarecalibratedperi odicallyinprojectsite.Conductingper formancetestforsubcontractorNDTtech nicians.

•    Attendtheclient'scomplaintsandtake correctiveandpreventiveactionaccordingly.Follow upauditshallbedone forpreventiveactionsofNCR.

•    Ensurethatthe Safety,Quality&Environmentrequiremen tsoftheyardarestrictlyfollowed.

•    Performotherjobrelateddutiesasassignedbythesectionhead.

PreferredCompetencies:-

•    University Degree or Diploma in relevant field or industrial experience.

•    GoodcommunicationskillsandcommandofEngli shlanguage,goodplanningandexecution skills.

•    Three years inspection experienceinashipyard,oil&gasindustry, orrelatedfield.

•    ShouldbeconversantwithapplicableNDEINDTtechniques&standards.

•    QualifiedASNT/PCNLevelIII NDT/VisualInspectororsimilar.

•    Ability to manage/control a multi-national work force
