An international investment bank is looking for a Head of Private Banking to join their team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate, who reports to the CEO, has to develop a client base of investors into investment products and services. As our client is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they are primarily looking for Saudi nationals, however, competent candidates of other nationalities with an excellent Saudi market experience will also be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
• Ensure high standards of private wealth management customer service and relationship management.
• Contribute to building an active and broad book of clients and prospects through a strong and diversified network of business and client contacts.
• Perform investment sales and cross-selling activities for the client comprising of asset management (mutual funds, private equity, capital-protected notes, structured products), investment banking (bonds, convertibles, private equity, IPOs), treasury (FX, structured products) and branch (deposits) products.
• Primarily focus on developing institutional, ultra high net worth and very high net worth individuals into long-term clients.
Qualification Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent, though professional certifications such as CPA/CMA/MBA is a must.
• Must be currently located in Saudi and fluent in English as well as Arabic.
• At least ten years in a related field with at least four to five years experience in a similar position in an investment bank in the GCC, with relevant exposure to Private Banking, Wealth Management and Brokerage in addition to Assets Management and Funds.
• Appropriate experience in Investment, Financing, Corporate Governance etc, with relevant qualifications and accreditations is also essential.
