A well known brand in the banking sector in Middle East has vacancies for Chief Financial Officer to work in Bahrain. All the candidates should possess an internationally acceptable qualification like CA,ACCA and CPA. Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role in large sized organisation is required.
Duties :
1. Work closely with departmental heads to formulate and execute growth strategy, financial analysis and due diligence for achieving goals.
2. Formulate and implement plans for improving productivity as well as profitability.
3. Make sure that the payments for expenditures are approved.
4. Ensure that all expenses are managed through formal procedures.
5. Take part in the strategic planning process and leads the budgeting and forecasting processes.
6. Establish a suitable cost allocation methodology.
7. Design and improve accounting systems and controls to automate the production of financial statements and managements accounts.
8. Prepare and monitor annual budget,including capital, manpower and overhead budgets.
9. Communicate the variance analysis to the top management for taking corrective action.
