The Bahrain Petroleum Company ( BAPCO ),a Government of Bahrain wholly owned company is looking for suitable candidates for the post of Specialist Welding. The ideal candidate will be a B.Sc. / B.E. or B.Tech. degree holder in Mechanical or Welding related subject. Work experience of minimum 10 years in welding related activities in a similar environment is required. Should possess excellent practical knowledge and experience of machinery and welding practices and procedures. Need knowledge of maintenance and operating procedures pertaining to equipment or facilities. Ned the ability and willingness to operate with minimum supervision in matters of craft skills and knowledge. key duties to be performed by this role are :
◘ Provides specialist, expert service on welding craft in the company for the manufacture, repair, modification and testing of all plant and equipment.
◘ Develops new welding techniques and gives specialist advice in the use of different methods of welding.
◘ Supports all areas of the refinery and outside facilities.
