The Candidate should be familiar with all activities and provisions of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Industrial Projects
He will be responsible for :
Supervise and manage all activities of the external quantity surveyors listed below:
1. Advise on budget setting
2. Provide cost advice during various design and planning stages
3. Monitor value management and engineering exercises
4. Monitor design development against plan and expenditure
5. Advise on procuring of construction services
6. Support the tender process (e.g., develop bills of quantities)
7. Participate in negotiation with contractors
8. Value construction work for interim payments
9. Monitor prepare of variation notices to advise Project Controller of potential and final cost variations
10. Monitor cost controlling during construction process
11. Monitor claim management process
Skills
Compulsory skills to apply to this opportunity:
• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or mechanical/electrical engineering.
• More than 10 years experience as a quantity surveyor in the full range of pre and post-contract quantity surveying duties in building construction and infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in English - Arabic optional
Preferred skills:
1. BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering.
2. Must have excellent knowledge of MS office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
