Siemens Pakistan Engineering Co. Ltd is looking for a dynamic and talented individual for the 
following position based in Karachi.

Material Testing Officer

Your Responsibilities:

* Preparing material testing procedures in consultation with Design and Quality Department
* Testing of material such as steel, copper, oil, electrical steel, according to specifications 
and test requirements.
* Preparation of calibration schedule for test instruments
* Handle customer inspections
* Management of documents, data and quality records
* Arrange and provide necessary training, coaching and guidance for team members

Your Profile:

* MSc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry
* At least 5 years relevant work experience in a laboratory / testing facility dealing in the 
testing of raw materials in Power Industry.
* Comprehensive knowledge of international standards related to material specifications and 
testing protocols
* Hands on experience in performing tests, use of laboratory equipment and related chemicals
* Knowledge of instruments used for inspection and their requirement for calibration and 
accuracy
* Good communication and customer service skills
