Job Description
We are an internationally established architectural practice with offices across the world looking for an experienced Financial Controller to manage the accounting function of our Middle East offices.
To reflect the accurate status of the financial performance of the Business, whilst ensuring compliance of statutory requirements
To maintain the short and long term financial health of the company
To coordinate all financial transactions, systems and procedures complying with regulations, accounting principles and standards
The liaise with all Directors, providing them with guidelines and resources to achieve profitable growth of the business.
Responsibilities
To enhance the interface and information flow between the finance function and the business through the reporting, forecasting and planning processes
To provide policies and procedures to meet the Companys objectives
To work with the management team to deliver strategic leadership on financial issues
To analyse the organisations revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast its short, medium, and long-term cash flow position
To identify and implement processes improvement and initiative within the finance function, and influence process improvement throughout the business
Requirements
Recognized professional Qualification in Finance and Accounting, preferably a Chartered Accountant, ACMA, or MBA in finance and accounting
Min 10 yrs experience
Knowledge of Project accounting is essential
Previous experience gained with one of big 4 accounting firms is an asset
Previous exposure to working in a partnership environment is advantageous
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English is a must)
Experience of financial reporting systems such as DELTEK are highly desirable
Excellent MS excel skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree, Certification/Professional qualification
Key Skills: Chartered Accountant, Project Accounting experience
