Job description:
To perform machining tasks related to Plant equipment repair including vessels, valves and Rotating equipment. The Machinist reports to the Workshop / Area Senior mechanical technician. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. To carry out a wide variety of machining tasks on components to meet technical specifications, safety standards and regulations. 2. To salvage worn out components by metal build up, sleeving, etc using appropriate techniques without compromising on the functional quality requirement of the work pieces. 3. To maintain the machine tools following the Standard practices.
