Job Description : Head of Operations, Kuwait
Our client, a leading Middle East based bank is looking for a Head of Operations to be based at its branch in Kuwait.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out day-to-day operations and ensure payments are made to vendors on time.
• Ensure all operating expenses are maintained at minimum within the approved budget.
• Design and implement a centralized technology driven platform that delivers world class standards at low cost.
• Design, review, implement and maintain operating procedures and processes in line with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and optimize costs to minimize operational losses by ensuring that effective infrastructure, controls, systems, processes and individuals are in place.
Requirements:
• University degree in Accounting, ideally CIA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent.
• At least 5 years managerial experience in operations, in a bank in the GCC.
• Sound knowledge of local regulatory laws as well as the various banking products and settlement systems.
