Maintenance Engineers
Qualification:
BSc Engineering Mechanical /Instrumentation & Control / Electronics/Electrical from any recognized University with minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity in CCPP/Petrochemicals
Role Description:
* Responsible for the supervision, planning, co-ordination and record keeping of all maintenance related activities on the plant site.
* Develops and co-ordinates plant activities related to maintenance.
* Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs as per the direction of Maintenance Manager. Supervises and co-ordinates activities of maintenance staff.
* Plans and inspects completed work on plant equipment.
* Maintains records, prepares reports and composes correspondence relative to work.
* Acquires considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical, instrument & control and electrical system throughout the plant and applies the same to troubleshoot problems and leads the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
* Trains and supervises subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Communicates effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
* Maintains favorable public relations.
* Helps Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
* Assesses plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generates material requisitions.
* Co-ordinates with Stores and Procurement for stock inventory.
* Ability to read and interpret, in English, documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures, manuals etc. Ability to write technical reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization. Computer skill is essential.
