The Office of the United Nations Development Programme ( UNDP) in the Kingdom of Bahrain is inviting Bahraini applicants Project Development Officer .
Requirements
• Advanced University degree in Economics, Development Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration or related areas. At least 5 years of experience in development work related to governance, poverty, social, economic development or related fields. Experience in partnership building and resource mobilization and development related work at the national and international level is an asset. Fluent in Arabic and English languages .
Main Responsibilities:
Analyse and advise on the country's socio-economic political and environmental progress and trends.
Provide substantive advice in social and economic fields.
Formulate a framework for working relationships with thematic networks and national counterparts.
Research and prepare draft thematic paper and project documents relevant to UNDP corporate mandate and national priorities.
Assess in implementing developmental projects and monitor and evaluate the impact of changes in programming tools, regulations and practices.
