JOB DESCRIPTION:

> Work experience of at least 12 years in substation project is required.
> Should possess strong knowledge and experience in:�
* Layouts of transmission and distribution substations (MV, HV & EHV).�
* All primary and secondary equipment of a substation (MV, HV & EHV)�
* Control and protection systems (microprocessor based control and numerical relays).
* CT & VT calculations�
* Protection setting calculations�
* Switchgear design (gas insulated switchgear experience for HV & EHV is mandatory)�
* Auxiliary supply & LV-AC systems�
* Battery charger systems and battery capacity calculation Interface requirements for SCADA (LDC / DMS).
* Integration procedures of batteries.
* Substation control and monitoring system architecture�
* Power and control cabling systems�
* Calculation and co-ordination of interfaces to Civil, Electromechanical & Telecommunication�
* Works during design stage�
* Laising with all other discipline engineers, clients engineers and office management.�
