SKILLS REQUIRED IN:
> Layouts of Transmission & Distribution Substations (MV, HV & EHV).
> All primary & secondary equipment of a Substation (MV, HV & EHV).
> Control & Protection Systems (microprocessor based control and numerical relays).
> CT & VT calculations.
> Protection setting calculations.
> Switchgear design (gas insulated switchgear experience for HV & EHV is mandatory).
> Auxiliary supply and LV-AC systems.
> Battery charger systems and battery capacity calculation.
> Interface requirements for SCADA (LDC / DMS) and its integration procedures.
> Substation Control & Monitoring System architecture.
> Power & Control cabling systems including calculation.
> Co-ordination of interfaces to Civil, Electromechanical & Telecommunication Works during design stage.
> Establishing of Tender Documents (Scope of Works / BoQ / Project related drawings) for Substation Projects.
> Updating of Specification requirements, Scope of Works, BoQs and Standard Drawings.
> Technical Support during Construction Works.
> Team Leader.
> Liasing with all other discipline engineers, Clients engineers & Office management.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
> Should possess a university degree in relevant discipline.
> Previous work experience in site supervision with any international contractor is needed.
> Experience in U.A.E. is essentially required.
> Should be fluent in English.
> Should be computer literate.
> Need excellent correspondence skill in contractual & technical matters.
> Able for controlling the project independently.
> Should possess a valid UAE driving license.
