Qualifications
* Assist in preparing a strategy for growth, review existing strengths and create operational synergies within the organization. * Prepare and execute a financial plan in order to achieve these strategic objectives. * Facilitate allocation of funds, whilst reviewing assets / resources. * Drive the organization’s treasury functions as well as be responsible for investment decisions. * Be a part of all decision making and be the final authority on approvals on business planning and provide guidelines and the framework for all business plans. * Provide financial information based on strategic intent for the timely submission of the financial report needed for board meetings, AGMs and annual reports. A large team of highly professional, multiracial finance and accounting professionals report into this position and the selected person will be judged on not only his financial capabilities but also his leadership qualities, his entrepreneurial spirit and his ability to manage relationships with people in authority. Work experience in an investments environment, primarily in the financial services arena and a CPA / ACCA qualification are mandatory.
