A well established medical distribution company in Jeddah is seeking for an Accountant. The ideal candidates will be a commerce graduate with CA (Inter), CIMA (Part Qualified), ACCA or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position with a contracting and distribution company is required. Should possess excellent knowledge about L/C’s and Bank Guarantees. Need the ability to lead and manage the finance team at office and in the branches all over KSA and interpret financial information to provide insight and add value. Candidates from India and Pakistan with transferable Iqama will get high preference.
Key Duties:
> Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
> Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
> Analyze and review budgets and expenditures.
> Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
> Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, invoices, and other accounting documents.
> Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
> Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff.
> Resolve accounting discrepancies.
> Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and other accounting reports.
> Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
> Reconciliation of bank statements.
> Prepare cash flow statements.
> Cooperate with external auditors to close accounts
> Manage expenses and petty cash
> Forecast cash positioning and budgeting activities.
> Calculate and distribute salaries.
> Other duties as assigned.
