Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Ensure transparency and compliance to documented policies and procedures for the function.
• Review the compliance policies to ensure that they are compliant with banking and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and analyze the internal compliance policies as well as the Central Bank and UAE laws and regulations.
• Train the staff in the bank with the objective of inculcating risk and compliance control culture within the bank.
• Support the operational and administrative units of the bank with compliance of new products and services introduced.
Requirements:
• Post Graduate or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, though a professional degree / diploma in audit / review is desirable.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the related fields of risk / compliance/ audit in banks or financial institutions in the GCC.
• Fluency in English is essential and Arabic speakers would be preferred.
• Must have exposure to IT area within banks.
