Sales Manager
A leading Middle East based bank is looking for a Head of Brokerage to join its brokerage team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the leadership position of the bank’s brokerage business in terms of market share, volumes, profits, etc. and ensuring continuous growth.
Responsibilities:
• Expand the brokerage business into foreign or domestic institutions, corporate bodies and High Net Worth individuals.
• Formulate and review training programmes and the ongoing product or other relevant refresher courses.
• Lead the development of new service delivery channels and other tie-ups to enhance market share.
• Develop and implement long and short term strategies for the brokerage business.
• Ensure compliance with all local or international regulations.
Requirements:
• Professional qualifications such as MBA/CA/CFA.
• Strong background in the Institutional brokerage business (equities) with exposure to multiple markets.
• At least 15 years of experience in an International or large local brokerage house with at least 5 years in institutional brokerage in the capacity of heading the institutional brokerage business.
