Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE / SCOPE OF WORK (Summary) •Plan and implement business development and marketing for branch, with an objective to improve and attract business in order to reach the agreed upon targets. •Control Commercial and Operational risks. •Comply with the Banking International Policies & Procedures. •Advice General Management on any suggested strategical business change. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development & Planning •Plan & Implement Business Development & Marketing for commercial and individual accounts for the branch with an objective to improving the quality of services in the branch and maximizing performance & profits within Goals and Objectives. •Prepare Branch budgets, achieve targets and is accountable for performance. •Develop & maintain client relationship – existing & prospective. Visit clients and prospects on a regular basis in order to enlarge the client base. •Plan PAM loan development programs to meet budgeted targets. •Forecast business trends and set-in process the existing manpower; analyze manpower requirement for the future and coordinate the same with Human Resources. •Develop liabilities and deposits (Time Deposits, Escalator and Current and Savings Accounts). •Extend a high quality of service to customers. Credit Risk Management •Monitor the performance of the Branch risk assets and safeguard bank’s interest in the spirit of the Credit policy. •Thoroughly appraise and vet new proposals from existing and prospective customers, make recommendations. •Make proposals to minimize the irregular accounts together with Credit department and make recommendations to the Management.
