A Middle East based institute of science and technology, with a focus on advanced energy and sustainable technologies is looking for an IT Network Specialist to join its team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and assess the nature and degree of the problem and recommend corrective action.
• Integrate multiple hardware and operating system platforms within a large complex network system.
• Assist in the preparation and recommendation of standards for the use of personal computer resources.
• Provide consultation and technical assistance in the selection, operation and maintenance of personal computers.
• Identify the source of operating problems, including hardware and software aspects for computers systems at the institute.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or any other related field.
• At least 5 or more years of experience of local area network management, programming experience or analytical experience, in a higher educational institution in the GCC.
• Knowledge of several computer languages, programs or systems as well as strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
