Our client, a global insurance company is seeking Medical Consultant who will be working in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
• Assist medical claims administrators in processing claims.
• Study all the price lists, handle reconciliations and visit the medical providers on a regular basis.
• Communicate with insured members on their claims and on any request coming from an insured member.
• Supervise in-patient claims such as visits to the patients during their hospitalization and advise on medical basics and practice.
• Handle relations with the medical providers which includes negotiating all the discounts and validate all medical claims in IT system.
Requirements:
• MBBS Graduate, MD (Doctor of Medicine).
• Preferably male; proficient in English as well as Arabic.
• Sound knowledge of all medical insurance policies, pricing / fee arrangements and billing policies as well as basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Expert knowledge of medical conditions, treatments and procedures in order to guide claimants and challenge practitioners and healthcare providers.
