Job Description:

The Startup Project Manager effort will be devoted primarily to;-

Manage the startup project of an tourism relatied business. The startup period is estimated to be 6 to 9 months
Plan, budget and lead an outsourced team in line with group goals..
Working with a partner to acquire operational "know how" for rapid deployment
Assist in identifying and recruiting key members of the management team

DUTIES:

General

The Startup Project Manager is responsible for the initial startup phase of the development of an tourism based business. The responsibilities include;-

Planning and budgeting for the development and launch of the business unit.
Working with the investors and business partners to develop and deploy the project within the agreed timeframe and budget (estimated to be 6 to 9 months)
Working with the IT solutions company to develop a web portal with ecommerce capabilities
Working with the IT solutions company to integrate and customize a web portal
Working with a partner to identify which travel content to aggregate and merchandize

Job Knowledge / Skill:

Language: Fluent in written and spoken English

Key skills related to the job:

1. Thorough knowledge of the travel business, preferably at the senior management level in an online travel agency

2. Knowledge of e-commerce, preferably specialized in travel products

3. Knowledge of the hotel business

Education: Bachelor's Degree
