Job Title : Scada Transmission Specialist

Job Benefits & Candidate Profile

• Minimum 15 years experience in SCADA systems and relational databases specially SCADA Data base for transmission and distribution systems.

• Should have managerial skills in order to manage project execution and associated staff

• Knowledge in IEC 101/104 protocols, RTU, SCS and communication equipments. Some experience in Unix and Oracle Systems

• Experience in diagnosing both software and hardware problems, resolving capacity issues and providing consultancy to end-user

• Knowledge and ability to install software packages and deploy hardware

• Experience with SCADA related projects works such as tendering and offer evaluation

• Have the ability and the experience to negotiate with bidders both technical and financial issues

• Should be capable of providing technical and financial evaluation and recommendation reports to managements

• Should have the capability follow up project execution and commissioning phases and provide regular updates to management.

• Should be in a position to conduct FAT and SAT of SCADA equipment and ensure compliance with Specified requirements

• Should have knowledge of approved know international standards relevant to quality of SCADA software, hardware and communication

• Should have supervisory skills and experience to supervise team of engineers during project execution

• Should be able to help, assist and train other engineers within the SND department
 

Minimum Educational Qualification

Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
