Our client, a global insurance company is seeking a highly qualified Regional Insurance Procurement Manager of Healthcare.

The ideal candidate has to act as line manager to nominate direct reports to manage, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the healthcare network of providers in the gulf region.

• Directly manage network department staff in various locations within the area of responsibility.

• Contribute to the preparation of the medical departments annual and medium term strategy and plans.

• Leads the implementation of strategies with providers, ensuring benefits for the company and its members.

• Negotiate, implement and review contractual arrangements with healthcare providers, to deliver the company's cost containment strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position in the GCC.

• Expert knowledge of the various legislations and regulations in the region.

• Expert knowledge of healthcare insurance market at regional level; IT systems and finance.
