Job description
• Ability to perform and carry out failure analysis study. • Carrying out positive material identification, hardness checking etc., of critical equipment and piping during fabrication and at site. • Checking the welding electrodes and positive material identification of welds during fabrication and at site. • Assisting inspection engineers for material identification. • Technical communication with vendors / contractors. • Support plant inspection as per requirement. • Plan & attend site works assist in managing the delivery of multi-disciplinary schemes to a high quality. • Liaise as necessary with clients, other departments and specialist sub-consultants and attend project meetings. • Responsible for timely providing specialist engineering skills for plant problems such as study the root cause, analyze, recommend and prepare & issue technical inspection reports after site visits in the field. • Review of engineering drawings and ITP of the projects.
Qualifications
• Candidate must have Material/Mechanical Engineering Degree with a min. of 10+ year’s experience. Out of it, minimum 5 years experience in the petrochemical plant and industry. • Candidate must have proficient communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills, excellent Knowledge of English and computer skill knowledge. • Knowledge of review drawings, design specification. • Candidate should be fully familiar with international standards such as API, ASTM and ASME specifications.
